Melissa Reglein
Transition Manager

Melissa Reglein’s past experience provides her with a unique lens for analyzing opportunities for Ashton Thomas Private Wealth (ATWP) advisors. During her more than two decades in the financial services industry, she has worked for all the major investment channels, including banks, wirehouses, independent brokers and RIAs (Registered Investment Advisors). Starting out at Dean Witter Reynolds as a sales admin, her responsibilities quickly escalated, and she was recruited to many other firms through the years, including Smith Barney, Wachovia and Wells Fargo.

Melissa is now focused on transitioning and onboarding new ATWP financial advisors into their positions, and then helping them grow their book of business. “I realized that I love to see other people succeed. I’m passionate about helping them do that,” she says. “My goal is to help advisors find and transition into their forever home here, and for Ashton Thomas to grow along with them.”

Melissa plays a key role throughout the entire partnership process: building relationships, performing financial analysis to determine value and working closely with advisers to develop deal structure and terms. She enjoys collaborating with all disciplines to improve the lives of clients and advisors and, as she puts it, “I’m constantly amazed by the energy, passion and talent I’m surrounded by at Ashton Thomas. I thrive in this entrepreneurial environment!”

Growing up in an historic 98-year-old family music business (manufacturing mouthpieces for the clarinet and saxophone), Melissa freely admits that she is results-driven, energetic and determined at work, and doesn’t “sit well.” But she finds balance with her rescued German shepherd/golden retriever mix, Dac, and her cat, Ozzie, and enjoys sharing great food and wine with family and friends. She plans to volunteer at the MIM (Musical Instrument Museum) as well as philanthropic organizations dedicated to children.
