Paul joined Ashton Thomas in 2022 as a Client Service Associate. He comes to the firm with a background in customer service in the insurance industry.
Paul, who hails from Ft. Wayne, Indiana, is a graduate of Indiana University. After a few years in retail management following graduation, Paul moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where several of his college friends were living at the time. Coincidentally, he also met his wife, Michelle, in Atlanta despite her also being an Indiana University graduate.
For the last 13 years, Paul worked for Highland Capital Brokerage in various roles in Operations and New Business. For the majority of the time, he supervised life case managers throughout the U.S. He was also involved with business process management in the new business and case management divisions of the firm.
Coming from a business which was more transactional in nature was an intentional career step for Paul. He values relationship management and enjoys working in a wealth management firm that focuses on the client experience. Ashton Thomas allows him to serve both the firm and the advisors at a high service level.
In their free time, Paul and Michelle, who also works in the wealth management industry, love to travel both within the U.S. and abroad. They enjoy dining out and spending time with friends and their dog Ivy, but Paul’s real passion is sports. He would love to someday host a podcast talking about IU basketball, as well as his beloved Chicago Bears and Cubs teams.
