Bjorn joined the Bozeman office of Ashton Thomas Private Wealth as a Client Service Associate in 2021. He assists clients and advisors with day-to-day operations and focuses on providing white-glove service to all.
Prior to joining Ashton Thomas, Bjorn was a Service Manager in a local Wells Fargo Bank branch. He joined Wells Fargo in Bozeman as a teller in 2017.
Bjorn hails from northeastern Minnesota. Growing up in a small Lake Superior community meant a lot of time spent with family and learning to work with his hands from a young age—values and skills he still appreciates to this day. Bjorn left the great lakes region for college at Montana State University in Bozeman, starting his collegiate years on a pre-med track. After striking up a conversation with one of his colleagues, a Financial Advisor at Wells Fargo, he decided that his skillset would allow him to be of greater help to people by caring for their financial needs and changed course to focus on business instead.
While gaining his academic residency in Montana, Bjorn had the privilege of working for Gibson Guitars doing hands-on body construction in their main acoustic guitar production center. “It was an amazing experience for me as an amateur musician,” he says, “and very different from my time in the sawmill as a teenager.”
While attending MSU, Bjorn took a role as a teller with Wells Fargo Bank. Eventually, he became the Service Manager of a local branch, a role he held until joining Ashton Thomas.
In his free time, Bjorn enjoys reading and learning. He also composes music, dabbling in several different instruments. When he is outdoors in Big Sky Country, he spends his time hiking or snowshoeing, depending on the season. Bjorn also has passion for indoor climbing, with the goal of eventually taking on the natural climbing routes in the Bozeman area.
