Bonnie Sauer
Senior Transitions Specialist
Bonnie began her impressive career at Alex. Brown & Sons and Legg Mason, where she discovered her passion for financial services. She transitioned to Charles Schwab in 1995, where she became a licensed representative and officially moved into an Advisor Services position. Bonnie obtained her Bachelor of Arts in journalism and communications from Towson University and is now certified with the FINRA Series 7, 66, 9, and 10 licenses. As a Senior Transitions Specialist at Ashton Thomas, Bonnie Sauer enjoys assisting independent advisors and RIAs by serving clients in a more efficient and effective way. “By helping others, I feel that it’s a job well done for both the firm and for the clients,” she says. “It’s the job satisfaction and a feeling of success across the board for everyone involved in the outcome.”
Born and raised in New Jersey, Bonnie lived in Baltimore, Maryland before moving to Phoenix, Arizona, where she currently resides. She became a stay-at-home mom in 1999 and homeschooled her son, a nationally competitive junior tennis player. Since returning to work, she has served clients at Edward Jones and Charles Schwab in several roles, ranging from Financial Consultant to Senior Representative.
In her free time, Bonnie is an avid hiker, pickleball player, paddleboarder, and camper. She has worked as a yoga and pilates instructor and enjoys all forms of exercise. As a self-proclaimed daredevil, Bonnie bungee jumped in New Zealand, hot air ballooned off the east coast, and even tried tandem hang gliding.
