Cree is a Client Service Associate in the Helena, Montana, office of Ashton Thomas Private Wealth. Cree provides administrative support to Managing Wealth Advisor Scott Knutson and the team. Her primary job duties include managing Scott’s calendar, assisting clients with scheduling and meeting preparation, account maintenance, and asset movement requests. Prior to joining Ashton Thomas, she was in a similar role with Wells Fargo Advisors.
Cree has been a Helena resident since elementary school. She began her financial services career as a Teller with Wells Fargo Bank after being extended an offer from the bank’s District Manager who ran into her while she was working in the restaurant business. After six months, Cree was promoted to Lead Teller, and then in time to Service Manager and Service Manager II in her busy Helena branch.
She met Helena-based Wells Fargo Financial Advisor, Scott Knutson, through a nonprofit they both support, Florence Crittenton, in late 2019. Scott offered Cree a Client Service Associate position on his advisory team and she accepted. She remained in that role until joining Ashton Thomas in 2021.
I enjoy working closely with clients,” she says. “When I reach out to schedule meetings, it gives me the opportunity to chat with them and often they’ll share what’s going on in their daily lives. I like to build relationships with clients this way. Everyone has been very nice to me since joining Scott’s team and I get a lot of satisfaction from contributing to their financial success.”
Outside of work, Cree serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the nonprofit organization Florence Crittenton. Cree and her husband have three sons, ages fifteen, eleven, and six. As a family, they enjoy playing music together, as well as attending concerts and music festivals. Often taking advantage of the many outdoor activities Montana has to offer, they enjoy camping, boating, and hiking with their two dogs.
