Nico joined Ashton Thomas Private Wealth in 2021 as a Client Service Associate in the firm’s Scottsdale Headquarters. In this role, Nico dedicates his time to providing white-glove service for clients and ensuring advisors are given exceptional operational assistance. Prior to joining our firm, Nico served in a similar role at Vanguard in Scottsdale, Arizona.

An Arizona native, Nico is a graduate of Arizona State University (ASU), where he was a Barrett Honors College student, double majoring in Finance and Entrepreneurship, with a minor in Real Estate. Nico also worked for ASU’s athletic department during his collegiate years, where he had the honor of being tasked with maintaining the school’s logo and colors on the game field. “As a football fan and die-hard Sun Devil, it was an awesome job to have during college,” he recalls.

Nico began college as an Entrepreneurship major, which inspired him to start his own house painting company. Not long after founding the company, he began to uncover his passion for finance, leading him to add a major in Finance to his collegiate pursuits. “Adding a degree in Finance meant prolonging my graduation date,” says Nico, “but it was well worth it because nothing fascinates me more than analyzing investments, the economy, and the market.” His final collegiate year was spent writing his honors thesis titled The Emergence of Micro-Investing Brokerage and Trading Platforms.

Nico is currently a candidate for the Level III exam in pursuit of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA^®) professional designation. For fun, he enjoys watching football—the Cardinals and Sun Devils are his favorite teams—going to music festivals, spending time outdoors, playing video games, and spending time with Sage, his Aussiedoodle pup.
