Patrick Foley, Chief Operating Officer of Ashton Thomas Private Wealth, has a storied career.

Before joining the firm in 2019, Mr. Foley served in the leadership of OneAmerica Financial as President of Individual Life and Financial Services at OneAmerica Securities and then as President of Individual Insurance and Retirement Services for the parent entity. Previously, he was President of Distribution and Marketing, U.S. Life Companies, for Genworth Financial. Mr. Foley also served as Chief Marketing Officer of Allianz North America and Chairman of U.S. Allianz Securities. He began his career as an agent, manager, and then Vice President within the Prudential Financial family of companies.
Along this career path, Mr. Foley has remained active in industry and civic organizations such as LIMRA International and the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, serving as a board member of both, and Students Today Leaders Forever. He perhaps is best known as an inspiring leader and active change agent within the organizations he directed, both for-profit and not-for-profit. From integration of modern technology solutions, to rethinking operational processes and procedures, to developing programs for engaging employees, Mr. Foley has built and maintained a dynamic, well-regarded management reputation throughout the years.
Mr. Foley assists the leadership team at Ashton Thomas with oversight of day-to-day operations, formulation of mission-critical goals, policy direction, and staff development. He is also responsible for overseeing technology, marketing, business development, and assisting with oversight of finance. It also goes without saying that his leadership experience is an integral part of developing the firm’s culture as it continues to grow.
Mr. Foley is a graduate of the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa and currently holds the CLU and ChFC designations from The American College. He and his wife Sharon reside in Fountain Hills, Arizona, and have six adult children. He is a self-confessed “carholic” who enjoys finding and driving unique performance cars.
