Ryan Lovett is a Senior Wealth Advisor with 17 years of experience in financial services. He began his professional development in the residential mortgage sector, where he discovered an affinity for helping families achieve their financial objectives. Ryan went on to gain experience in the currency-trading markets, where he further developed his skills for learning about, and trading capital markets of all types.
Desiring to bring those two passions together naturally led him to the personal wealth management profession. Ryan has spent the last twelve years playing an instrumental role in the growth and evolution of Ashton Thomas Private Wealth, a mid-sized Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firm headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Ryan became a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) professional in December 2022 to apply a comprehensive, planning-based approach to each client relationship. He enjoys collaborating with clients to develop a personalized Financial Blueprint focused on long-term financial success. That detailed financial plan becomes the foundation for delivering investment advice, creating asset preservation and wealth transfer strategies, and implementing tax-aware solutions. Ryan works in concert with a credentialed Ashton Thomas team across the disciplines of estate planning, insurance, taxation, and investment management to ensure each aspect of the plan is optimized for a client’s desired outcomes.
In addition to his growing Private Wealth practice, Ryan also conducts much of the research, analysis, and delivery of ongoing reporting for the workplace retirement plans Ashton Thomas serves in a 3(38) Investment Fiduciary capacity. He is also well-versed in assessing non-traditional investment types, including real estate, private equity, hedge funds, and other complex instruments, providing his clients a diverse skillset applicable to the portfolio oversight process.
Ryan serves as a member of the firm’s Advisor Council, which assists Ashton Thomas leadership in steering the direction and allocation of the firm’s resources. The Advisor Council plays a key role in collaborating with across the firm to ensure a robust set of resources and solutions remain in place to support advisors and their clients. The Council also makes each of its members aware of and holds them accountable to the maintenance of the industry’s “best practice” standards for client service and delivery of financial advice.
In addition to being a CFP® professional, Ryan also holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation. Ryan graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a concentration in Economics and Business. Ryan and his wife, Kelli, welcomed a beautiful baby daughter, Riviera, to their lives in 2022.
