Scott is the Managing Wealth Advisor in the Helena, Montana, office of Ashton Thomas Private Wealth. He holds Bachelor of Science Degrees in Business Administration and Organizational Communication from Concordia College in Moorehead, Minnesota. He was previously with Wells Fargo Advisors in Helena.

Initially entering the industry with Wells Fargo predecessor Norwest, Scott quickly advanced to the Financial Advisor role. He has served in that capacity since 1994, building a substantial advisory practice before joining Ashton Thomas in 2021. Earning many professional and industry accolades throughout his career, Scott has been recognized by Barron’s as one of America’s Top 1,200 Financial Advisors* for eleven consecutive years.

Scott leads a team of professionals who are committed to providing focused, client-centric service. “It really is about our clients and how our team serves them. When he is not consulting with clients, Scott spends much of his free time with his children, Jack and Samantha, on the family ranch in Clyde Park. As a lifelong Montanan, Scott enjoys many outdoor activities, particularly hunting for upland game.
