As an independent Wealth Advisor and Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) with Ashton Thomas Private Wealth, Wills guides his clients through the process of investing and planning, specializing in wealth accumulation and wealth transfer strategies.
Wills grew up in Tucson, Arizona, and graduated from the University of Arizona’s McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship at the Eller College of Management. Wills enjoys staying active in the community and is a member of the Tucson chapter of Sons of the American Revolution.
“Risk management and financial planning are two components of one’s overall financial health that can often be overlooked,” states Wills. “As an AIF® designee, I understand the importance of thoroughly understanding a client’s goals. That is why a holistic approach to investing is so essential.”
Prior to joining Ashton Thomas, Wills was part of a private equity fund in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he built out a business incubator that included ventures in Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Oregon, and Texas. Prior to this, Wills lived in New York City, where he worked for a fintech firm focused on trading execution, connectivity, and reconciliation projects for global banking and exchange clients including Goldman Sachs, Barclays Capital, Bank of America, UBS, the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME).
“The team at Ashton Thomas provides me with breadth and depth of support across a range of disciplines. This means I can provide my clients the solutions they need. The client is the focus of my advisory practice and Ashton Thomas helps me deliver time and again.”
Having traveled extensively throughout Europe, Central America, and Australia, Wills prefers backpacking, as it provides a closer connection to the surrounding locale. When he is not working, Wills enjoys fly fishing and sport fishing, traveling, and hanging out with his family and their French bulldogs, Briggs and Brylee.
