Matthew Papillo
As a Private Wealth Advisor at Ashton Thomas, Matthew guides individuals and families through the financial planning process, finding right-fit solutions to best suit their needs and goals.
Before joining Ashton Thomas, Matthew held significant roles in the financial services industry, holding positions at UBS and Smith Barney. He later served as Assistant Vice President at Deutsche Bank following its acquisition of Alex Brown, where he excelled as a Client Advisor.
Matthew earned his bachelor’s degree in international studies with dual minors in economics and politics from Fairfield University. He went on to obtain an MBA with dual concentrations in finance and accounting from Fordham University. Matthew also holds the Accredited Asset Management (AAMS®) designation.
Currently, Matthew resides in Manhattan with his wife, Carrie, and their three children. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, hiking, escaping to the beach in the summertime, and skiing in the mountains during winter.
