Dan's philosophy is grounded in the unwavering commitment and focus he cultivated during his time as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. Following his military service, Dan began his accounting career as a staff accountant at a regional public accounting firm in Bozeman, MT. Dan later served as a Senior Tax Manager, where he oversaw a team of accountants, providing tax planning and income tax preparation to clients and financial advisors across the county.
His approach is guided by the belief that effective financial stewardship is not just about numbers, but about building meaningful relationships with clients. By fostering transparency, integrity, and open communication, Dan strives to be a trusted tax advisor, guiding clients through complex tax landscapes with confidence and clarity.
In addition to working with clients, Dan leads the Tax Advisory team at the firm. Dan holds a BS in Accounting from Norwich University, a Master of Professional Accountancy degree from Montana State University, and his Certified Public Accountant designation. Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife and children, fishing, and hiking.
