Tom comes from the world of business leadership. As a Senior Advanced Planning Consultant to Ashton Thomas, he focuses on delivery of family office solutions and advanced planning support for the Private Wealth and Planning teams. Working closely with Amy Kane and her colleagues, Tom provides strategic insight and structural insights to current and aspiring single family office and multi-family-office clients and their wealth advisors.

Tom also serves as co-founder and principal of Robin Glen, a portfolio company of Arax Investment Partners. Tom’s quarter-century of experience includes an advanced understanding of operational best practices, both strategic and tactical, and practical insight for adapting these to the varying needs of a wide range of established and new organizations.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts from James Madison University and an MBA from the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond.

In his free time Tom enjoys running, cooking, and traveling. Tom and his wife Laura are recent empty nesters and enjoy spending time with their 2 dogs with occasional visits from their two daughters.
