Supporting Women in Wealth
At Ashton Thomas Private Wealth, we believe it is our organization’s responsibility to prioritize supporting women in wealth—both within the financial services industry as a whole and as individuals whom we serve.
Today in the United States, women control 30% of household wealth, totaling approximately $10 trillion, and that number is expected to increase threefold in the next several years with 95% of the “Great Wealth Transfer” going to women.
In the wealth management industry, roughly one in four CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNING® professionals are women.
As part of our commitment to women in wealth, we have established a Women and Wealth Ambassador, Cary Carbonaro, to help lead our efforts in this important area.
Cary Carbonaro
Women and Wealth Ambassador
From her earliest days as the daughter of a banking executive, money and financial literacy have been integral parts of Cary’s life. In college, she founded a sorority focused on women’s safety and taught budgeting to her female peers, showcasing her lifelong dedication to empowering women.
With an extensive career in financial services, Cary gained the knowledge and experience needed to channel her passion for elevating women into her current role as the Woman and Wealth Ambassador. “My life’s work is striving to make the financial advice industry and wealth management, in general, female-friendly,” states Cary. “When it comes to money, women should feel safe and secure. They should be heard and empowered.”
In this role, Cary continues to uplift women through speaking engagements, media appearances, and authorship. Her book, “The Money Queen’s Guide: For Women Who Want to Build Wealth and Banish Fear,” is available at several major book retailers, further spreading her message of financial empowerment and security for women.
